Announcing...
- Desert Adventures launches new website!
With several new trips on their adventure menu, the 2010 season is
looking to be a busy one. Browse the website and check it out!
- Owner Izzy Collett is pleased to announce that Desert Adventures will be
offering "season passes" soon. That's right, you can paddle Black Canyon all season for a bargain price (permits
not included). Season passes will work much like a ski resort lift pass - bring it, show it, and you go free. Get yours today!
- Date TBA - Adventure fundraiser for Jordan Romero, a mountain climber, marathon runner, downhill skier, mountain biker,
and 8th grader who inspires the world. Join us on an outdoor adventure and support Jordan on his quest to conquer the worlds 7 summits. The 13 year old boy will
share his experiences and sign autographs. 100% of the proceeds will go toward his quest to climb Vinson Massif in Antarctica, and Everest - the remaining
two mountains on his list. See his latest TV appearance here:

Making Headlines
Las Vegas was recently voted the "#1 Best Place to Live + Play" by National Geographic Adventure Magazine. A quote
from the article states:
"From a quick peek at my map I could see that a four-hour perimeter around Las Vegas contains six national parks,
including Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce Canyon, two national recreation areas, 13 state parks, and millions of acres of
national forest. Double that—say, a day's drive—and Utah's powdery slopes, Yosemite, and the Pacific coastline are all
within easy striking distance."
