Eldorado Gold 4-Day Multisport
See Hoover Dam up close from your own high performance kayak, paddling through Black Canyon on the Colorado River.
The construction of Hoover Dam transformed an arid desert into one of the most spectacular recreation areas in
the southwest.
This section of Black Canyon is moving flat-water, it is not a whitewater trip. It is perfect for first timers
as well as seasoned paddlers. Your guide will show you unique and hidden places such as Gold Strike Canyon, Lone Palm
Canyon, Arizona Hot Springs, Emerald Cave and many other treats.
Spend hours relaxing and soaking in the natural hot tubs. Paddle into rain caves, and take time to study ancient
rock art left by the Mohave tribes who inhabited the area. Many sorts of wildlife live in the area. You may
see Desert Big Horn sheep, bald eagles, coyotes, red-tail hawks, and turkey vultures. Anglers can bring a rod & reel,
and try their hand at some world-class striped bass fishing.
Fresh meals will be enjoyed around the campfire, and evenings are free to relax, read, hike, or explore on your own.
Enjoy the sounds of the river as it lulls you to sleep, embers popping from the campfire.
At Eldorado Canyon, ride your ATV off road, up and around trails into the open sky. If you choose, you can hop in the
saddle and go horseback riding on dusty trails that lead to fabulous views of the Colorado River. Combine your
chosen adventure with an inner tour of the most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada.
Venture deep into this haunted mine and visit 3 different shafts, which descend over 900 feet. Learn how the hardiest
of men labored feverishly looking for gold, with the most primitive of tools and working by candlelight.
This 4-day multisport expedition packs the best outdoor adventures into one trip. You don't want to miss it!
