Camping Equipment

Camping is the most hands-on way to explore the Southwest. Rent some gear and explore Zion, the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Death Valley, or Lake Mead and Black Canyon.

Backpacking Tent: 2-person backpacking tents; small and lightweight. Perfect for starry nights in the desert. Rainfly and stakes included.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $35          Each Addt'l Day - $5

Basecamp Tent: 6 person basecamp tents. Great for families, car camping, and canoeing. Large, Roomy, and plenty of space. Rainfly and stakes included.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $50          Each Addt'l Day - $10

Sleeping Bag: When it comes to sleeping bags, you can choose from various temperature ratings for year-round camping comfort. You're toes will be warm and toasty all night long. Mummy bag style for weight savings.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $15          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Sleeping Pad (Air): These lightweight self-inflating sleeping pads are just the ticket to a good night's rest. Made for backpacking, they roll up tight and won't weigh you down. Light enough for the trail, and decadent enough for car campin. Includes camp pillow (see below).

Cost:  First 2 Days - $15          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Sleep Pad (Foam): The workhorse of outdoor comfort, the unique ridged pattern traps more heat and provides more comfort than any flat-foam mattress and is practically indestructible. Use as your only mattress or pair it with an air mattress for the ultimate in comfort. Closed cell foam provides the best insulation against the cold ground. These pads are bulkier than air pads, but weigh less. Includes camp pillow (see below).

Cost:  First 2 Days - $10          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Camp Pillow: A nice fluffy place to lay your weary head. Small enough for backpacking, and cushy enough to have while car camping, these pillow compress into a tiny little stuff sack. Rent one by itself, or get one FREE with every sleeping pad rental.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $5          Each Addt'l Day - $1

Stove (Backpacker): Lightweight and small, these stoves weigh mere ounces and stow neatly in your pack or a kayak hatch. Simple, basic, and easy to operate - they are the preferred cooking method for backpackers and kayakers.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $10          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Stove (Basecamp): Grill burgers or bratwurst, cook chili or soups. Our basecamp series stove is large enough to hold a 10-liter stockpot, boil copius amounts of water for pasta, or grill chicken for fajitas. If you have a large group or you just want something more stable than a backpacker stove, this grill is for you.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $10          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Fuel: Propane or White Gas is available, depending on your choice of stove. We will ensure you get the proper fuel for your choice of stove.

Cost:  Fuel Canister (1 per stove) - $6

Cookset: A complete cookset for a group of 4. Cookset includes a 3.2-liter nonstick DuraLite DX pot, 5.3-liter hard-anodized pot, 2 strainer lids, 4 polypropylene DeepDish plates, 4 insulated mugs and a pot handle.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $20          Each Addt'l Day - $5

Folding Chairs: It's nice to sit in a comfy chair after a long day of paddling. We rent these small folding stools, as well as larger lounging chairs. There's even a space for your cold beverage!

Cost:  First 2 Days - $5 each          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Roll Table: A camper's best friend. In a couple of minutes, the Roll-A-Table transforms from a compact bundle to a square table that will support up to 175 lbs. It has a wide side pocket to conveniently hold your cooking supplies. Rent one today and enhance your camping experience.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $5 each          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Cooler (Soft Sided): Dura-soft coolers keep items cold, while flexing to fit inside snug kayak hatches. Padded with closed cell foam, their performance rivals that of hard-shell coolers.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $5 each          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Cooler (Hard Sided): Tough and tenacious outfitter-grade cooler has superior insulation, an airtight o-ring seal and easy drainage. It's perfect for a canoe trip or extended camping.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $10          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Marine Radio: Handheld Two-Way VHF Marine Radio. Great for Scout Groups, Trip Leaders, or anyone who wants an added layer of protection against emergencies.

Cost:  First 2 Days - $15          Each Addt'l Day - $2

Digital Camera: Worried about taking your camera? Rent a digital waterproof 8MP Olympus camera for your trip. We supply the 2GB XD memory card, you snap away, and we will send you home with a high resolution CD of every brilliant image you captured.

Cost:  First Day - $30          Each Addt'l Day - $5

Racks (Roof Mount): The world’s first inflatable roof rack is simple to use, installs in minutes, and doesn't require any tools for assembly. Transport your paddleboard, surfboard, kayak, or snowboard. Great for clients with rental cars who want to take a kayak to the lake.

Cost:  First Day - $15          Each Addt'l Day - $5

Racks (Hitch Mount): Long loads are easily secured above or behind any truck with a receiver hitch. Transport canoes or kayaks with ease, and without spending hundreds of dollars on custom racks.
