Scout Troops
No matter how small or large your group, we can accomodate it with our fleet of over 100 boats.
Many scout troops choose Desert Adventures as their outfitter when
renting canoes in Black Canyon. We can supply up to 60 canoes if necessary, along with instructors, lessons, rescue
training, & shuttle service. The Black Canyon will entertain for multiple days, with great hikes, crystal waters,

Merit Badge Programs
Earn your merit badge while paddling downriver. Desert Adventures has programs designed for scouts groups
seeking a professional outfitter with expert instructors. If you've never paddled a canoe before, don't worry. You
can still earn your merit badge in just one day, build comraderie, and have fun while learning to canoe!

Scout Discounts
Scouts, youth groups,
church groups, and non-profit organizations are eligible for discounts! You will need to supply
your Troop number, contact information, and in some cases a non-profit status document.
Guides can be hired at a substantial price reduction. The benefits of hiring a professional guide are many. A guide can
take you to the best places, suggest great campsites, and keep your group on schedule. They are familiar with the river currents,
have extensive knowledge and experience, are certified in rescue techniques, can offer instruction, and add leadership. Hiring
a guide offers peace of mind, and allows you to relax and enjoy the experience.
Canoe trips are extremely popular for scout troops in the Spring, Summer, and Fall... especially on weekends. Space is limited
